Meet Amy

Amy is a lifelong student and an advocate for all learners. She holds a Masters of Education from Vanderbilt University in Human Development Counseling and also possesses a certificate of Educational Administration. She is a Licensed K-12 School Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and an Independent Educational Consultant Associate. As a school counselor, Amy has over 12 years of experience in both private and public school settings to support students ages 5 up to 18. As an advocate for professional development, she treasures the opportunity to support others to expand upon their educational goals. Amy has worked in a supervisor role for both nonprofit and educational organizations, and has supervised graduate counseling students for their site-based internship experiences throughout her career. In the classroom, she has taught both graduate and undergraduate students at Vanderbilt as an Adjunct Professor for 10 years.

Amy appreciates what each human can bring into to the world tapestry. She believes in a person's ability to grieve, change, and thrive in the process of each new day. As a world citizen, Amy has grown from the chance to both teach and live in international settings. Experience has informed the developmentally-mindful process she seeks to share with others from around the globe: she knows each life journey is a one-and-only. Amy has supported thousands of learners to design the next steps for international educational paths and she is honored to be a collaborator on the adventure designs.
